Covid has taken us on some unexpected turns this year, as it has for everyone. We went from having a larger wedding planned for October of 2020 to a small and intimate wedding in April 2021. Our dear friends and family, you were always at the front of our decision making process. For the sake of everyone’s safety, we are choosing to have smaller celebrations. What this looks like - we will be having a small wedding with immediate family on April 3, 2021, and we will be breaking up receptions into smaller groups. We look forward to celebrating this new chapter of our life with you. In the meantime, we hope that this website will make you smile and feel like you were right there with us on our big day.
All our love,
Justin & Jen
November 15th, 2019. Earlier that week, Jen had been away at a design conference when Justin had gone down to secretly purchase the ring they looked at several months ago. His Uncle Larry makes custom jewelry for a living, so he helped Justin with the process.
It was a Friday evening after work and they headed to the park to enjoy a picnic. If you know them, then you know this is one of their favorite things to do. They sat in their favorite spot, under the canopying trees and next to the beautiful pond where the ducks swim at their leisure. They had not gotten very far into their meal before Justin surprised Jen by getting down on one knee.
StoryApril, 3rd, 2021.The big day started bright and early for everyone as our wedding started at 9:30 am. We had a morning ceremony at The Wright House, a venue in Mesa, AZ, where we were married by our pastor from Desert View Bible Church, Ben Rounds. It was a small, intimate ceremony with just immediate family, plus Justin's grandpa who lives with his parents. The celebration continued with brunch, followed by pictures and dancing. We are grateful to all of our friends and family who supported and prayed for us along the way.
