Justin and Jen both went to the same high school, Anthem Preparatory Academy, and although they were in different grades, she always admired him from afar. Their first time meeting was when Jennifer asked Justin to sign her dance card during the 2012 Winter Formal. It was her sophomore year in high school. She had been dared by one of her friends, and thankfully that friend had caught the moment on camera.

Several years passed and Jennifer decided to ask Justin to her Senior prom. As she suspected due to Justin’s shyness in high school, he declined and said that he wouldn’t be attending. A year passed and Jennifer was now attending Grand Canyon University while Justin was in his senior year of high school. Justin called Jennifer asking her to go to prom with him, but she was so shocked that she hung up the phone on him. She had assumed that her friends set her up as a joke. After a few minutes, she called him back apologizing and accepted the invitation to go.
